We hold a stock of ladies Hunt Coats, and have recently introduced the waisted ladies style as well as the style shown here.

Men's Hunt Coats are generally made to measure. We have found that because of the waisted design of a traditional Hunt Coat it is very difficult to get an average size and pattern. They are traditionall tailored using a canvas and horse hair front to ensure the best possible fit. All coats are stitched with very strong waxed thread and are also hand finished. They really are a work of art, made with each customer in mind and to withstand many years of wear in all weathers.

For our made to measure service we like to see the customer for measuring and for one or two fittings. However we realise that this is not always possible so have accurate measuring charts for our customers to fill in, and can then send items to be tried on and pinned once or sometimes twice during the making process.

Coats can be interlined with Permatex for extra protection against the elements. This lets body moisture out, whilst being waterproof and windproof to keep you warm and dry.
