| Showing Time is a family run business owned by me, Kate Rust and
based in the beautiful village of Bethersden in Kent. Here I am in
one of our own jackets.
We are proud that we are one of the very few British companies
left that make our own jackets and coats here in our workshop using
British cloths. We have a large range of items made up in sizes
ranging from VERY large to VERY small and also supply a comprehensive
made to measure service.
We pride ourselves in being able
to make up most items within three weeks.
As well as our off the peg items, we can also offer our popular
bespoke service where garments are tailor made or altered to each
customer’s specifications and measurements to ensure a perfect
fit.

We are delighted that we have won the South Eastern regional final of the Best Rural Retailer 2007 Best Traditional Business catagory. The finals were held at the House of Lords in February. We had a really fabulous day there.
Michelle Nudds, from the judging panel said,
“they offer a very professional and friendly service where nothing is too much trouble for Kate and her team. They are always eager to help and offer advice, and they will always try to obtain goods when required, even if they don't stock them. It takes courage to make hunt coats and to start a small business in the current political climate and their quality and design is outstanding. Our rural heritage has a future thanks to businesses like this.”

This week we have also been interviewed by LBC radio and BBC Kent Radio about the skill and work involved in making one of our bespoke hunt coats.
The picture on the right is of Frank, our talented pattern cutter. He has worked
in the fashion and tailoring industry since he was sixteen and his years of experience are a great asset to us. |
